Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Sarah and I’m a pharmacist by day, and mama to my daughter Dempsey, and we live with my husband and our two dogs in NY. We will soon be joined by baby boy in summer 2023!
I’m a lover of clean beauty (I actually took a makeup certification course!), detoxing all things home and personal care and baby, and trying to live our life just a little bit cleaner and more eco-friendly one day at a time. I want this to be a space for me to share all the crazy hours of researching and countless products I’ve tried so that you don’t have to do all that. Ask my husband, he’ll tell you I look things up and research them for waaaaay too long before making purchases, almost to a fault! I’m a pharmacist as I said – so researching is kinda my thing, and it also makes me super into ingredients and researching those too!
My goal is to weed through the stress and overwhelm that can come with the clean-living space and to assure you that making one small change at a time can have major impacts on your health and well-being, or for the environment! It doesn’t have to be an all or nothing approach, we can make small changes that will add up over time. So that is why I say living on the clean-ish side. I can still have my plastic baggies on standby until I find a better solution, or my Bounty paper towels, until I swap to something more sustainable, or eat my favorite snacks or meal that are loaded with sugar or things I usually avoid to have as a special treat.
