Named after an actual beach tower and encompassing all the sunny glowy Cali-vibes, it truly does what they aim to do. Provide effortless beauty looks while keeping sensitive skin in mind. Their SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray is one of their flagship products and it does not disappoint. The bronzinos and multi-purpose lip and cheek products are amazing, and their new make waves mascara is perfection (they can barely keep it in stock!) Alright so let’s get to the breakdown on why I love Tower 28 Beauty so much and review all my favorites with you. Yes – they really are! Tower 28 Beauty ingredients are formulated for sensitive skin, but also without all the nasty stuff we want to avoid. Their “no list” is extensive and I am here for it! From their website here is the specifics below on what they DON’T let in their products:

Let’s talk Tower 28 SOS Facial Rescue Spray
What is it?
Hypochlorous acid – it is made similarly actually to the cleaning spray I talked about last post – electrolyzed salt and water to create this multi-tasking and super healing spray. Hypochlorous acid is already something our skin naturally makes.
How it is used?
It’s anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, used to soothe and heal irritated and angry skin. But also it works as a fabulous toner, makeup prep and setting spray, a refresh throughout the day or after a workout. You can use it on eczema patches on places other than your face. It’s truly magical. I barely ever get any breakouts, and I’ve been using it as a toner (spray on and don’t remove) AM and PM in my routine for years now, right before I apply my moisturizer (or a serum then moisturizer). I use it to always set my makeup as well. It is just fabulous. I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone, regardless if you struggle with acne prone or oily and sensitive skin, eczema or more dry normal skin like me. It’s is a wonderful product for everyone.
Let’s talk Tower 28 Bronzino!
The Tower 28 Beauty Bronzino is my absolute faaaaavvvvvvvvvv. I am obsessed with the colors West Coast and Sun Coast – they are TO DIE FOR. I love how easily they apply, are buildable, and just give the most gorgeous dewy glowy not sparkly finish that I just haven’t ever had with any other bronzer. I used to be a matte bronzer girl before this but I don’t know if I’ll ever go back. I’ve used this for events in summer and winter, on some brides recently, on myself as a bridesmaid multiple times. I just can’t speak highly enough!
How I apply:
I apply these with my favorite packed foundation brush from Clove & Hallow (hopefully she continues the brushes now that she’s transitioned only to Clover by Clove) – it’s truly amazing – so any soft packed foundation brush would do, or you can use your fingers and blend or use a blending sponge. It’s buildable so a little goes a long way – and the Sun Coast color is the most gorgeous golden highlight I usually apply directly with my fingers on my cheekbones, eyebrows, inner corner of eyes, nose tip and cupids bow of my lips.
I find these last all day on me with just spritzing with the SOS spray to set. I haven’t used powder on my face in ages honestly!
Let’s talk MakeWaves Mascara!
This mascara is totally making waves – it’s constantly selling out since it launched last summer/fall. I’m on my second tube and I have to say, I’m loving it. Its super buildable and honestly stays great, doesn’t flake at all during multiple weddings and crying. I used it on both brides in the fall who’s makeup I did too! It lasted all day!
I also have to comment on contact lens wearing. Whenever I used my other fav mascara and wore my soft contacts, I would get SO much gunk and buildup on them I would have to take them out and clean them multiple times throughout an event or day. I even threw my contacts on the ground at my own wedding bc I couldn’t see with all the gunk and didn’t want to deal with them. With the Tower 28 Beauty MakeWaves mascara, I don’t have any issues with my contacts! I was able to arrest them for multiple events in the fall including the 2 weddings and was SO thrilled! So this truly is the best for sensitive eyes and contact wearers!
Let’s talk BeachPlease!
These multi-uae balms are SO pigmented and creamy it’s insane truly a tiny bit goes a a long way!! My favorite outside of summertime is the newer Office hours (mauve), whereas Happy Hour (hot pink) and Golden Hour (orange) I reserve for summer time! I don’t think they last as long on lips as they do on cheeks – find they are good for a pop of color here and there but prefer the lip jelly’s for lips!
Let’s talk SunnDays SPF 30 Tinted Moisturizer
I just started using this more recently actually so I can’t comment on sun protection in the summer but I got the color 04 Mulholland although I meant to get the one that was light neutral – it’s actually working okay for my skin tone! I love the texture – it’s thin, sheer, doesn’t feel cakey or heavy, find it blends like a dream with just your fingers (I apply on top of my face oil or balm, I prefer that because I’m dry).
I haven’t had this peel or cake or crumble at all for all day wear and find it lasts great. It doesn’t get tight like some others I have tried. I would say this is super similar to my gold standard which is Suntegrity Impeccable skin – I have been using that one for like 5 years now, and I have to say the Tower 28 SunnyDays is definitely right up there now – I think it’s a tiny bit more lightweight actually but similar coverage for me. I love it! it’s also not greasy if you’re worried about being oily!
Lastly let’s talk ShineOn Lip Jelly and Milky Jelly
I love these lip glosses! They look much more pigmented in the containers but they go on sheer. The milky ones have a little more opacity to them which I love too – they aren’t sticky and last a long time but also wear off super well and evenly! I have so many you can see! Easy for a sheer color to go to brunch or for work!
Overall Impression of Tower 28 Beauty
I absolutely love this brand and everything they stand for! Also did I mention they started using post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic for their packaging? I love the way everything applies to my face and lips and how it lasts, and the minimalist packaging. The Tower 28 SOS Spray is a fabulous skin care product and I highly recommend everyone try it out especially if you have sensitive, redness or acne prone skin. The MakeWaves Mascara is absolutely a must try – game changer for contact wearers. Everything really truly is a must try I really love them and the price point you really can’t beat in clean beauty!
