Okay, I am legitimately obsessed with 8 Faces Beauty Boundless Solid Oil. It is hands down the one product I CANNOT live without. I was introduced to it by a local store Aurum Rose Beauty which has since closed its doors sadly. I have been using this solid oil since 2018 and it has been life changing. I have traveled to 4 countries with it as my only skincare outside of a cleanser. It’s the best winter skincare product, it gets me through cold winters in New York. It is my AM and PM ritual. It smells amazing. Need I say more? They just recently launched in 2022 their 8 Faces Brilliance Serum which I have been using since about October and also loving! Their customer service and instagram messaging is always so amazing as well with any question you may have they are right there to answer it. So let’s dive into this 8 Faces review.

I use this for all of the above and think it works fabulously. I use this primarily as my daily AM/PM moisturizer, as well as my under eye area balm. I find my skin looks glowy and stays hydrated all day and night long when using this. I always rub the extra into my hands, or on my neck, or onto the ends of my hair. I’ve used it after sun as well. It doesn’t burn, it feels soothing. It also is the best travel multi-purpose skincare product, you really don’t need to pack much else! Although it doesn’t tout as a use, it’s also the best winter skincare product – it’s so hydrating and locks and in moisture in the dry winter weather.

I love that it is all completely oils and seed butters and extracts from real fruits and flowers. It truly is everything you could ever want in a clean skincare product. The Phyllanthus Emblica Fruit Extract is the Amla berry, which is also known as “indian Gooseberry” – packed with antioxidants and is an important plant in traditional Ayurvedic medicine in India. Known for its anti-aging properties as well as medicinal.
8 Faces Beauty Boundless Solid Oil Application:
I use a good pea sized amount for my entire face, melt into hands, and apply all over my face and bring it down onto my jaw and neck, and then whatever is leftover I moisturize my hands or nails and cuticles as well. I typically apply to a damp face or hands, I find it absorbs better on damp skin. You can use water or a toner mist such as the Tower 28 SOS spray like I use. I also apply the 8 Faces balm under my eyes as well and in lieu of an eye cream/serum most of the time.

It smells divine – It truly is aromatherapy in a jar. The scents are not too floral but not too earthy (think citrus/lavender notes). To me, it’s the perfect balance for a clean beauty product. My husband is sensitive to scents that I use, and I have tested out a lot of products over the past 7 years, and this is his favorite too.
It’s traveled with me on every trip.
It’s the best winter skincare product there is!
I apply it before I put on any makeup. It is a phenomenal base.
My fine lines are lessened
My freckles/sun spots have never gotten worse, so to me it’s helping to either fade or prevent darkening

Again, this product is loaded with organic extracts and oils, and the scents come from those ingredients as well.
8 Faces Beauty Brilliance Serum Application:
Add a few drops to your hands and warm and gently press evenly onto faces and neck. I have tried this on dry skin or damp skin, and usually prefer damp skin. Pressing into skin is different than just rubbing all over, they do recommend pressing. They also recommend adding the Boundless Solid oil on top for extra moisture and nourishment, truly a fabulous combo for the best winter skincare product. I have been layering in the colder NY winter, but I think the serum would be a great lightweight daytime serum on it’s own in the warmer months.

I do really like this serum, especially layered with the solid oil.

The scent of this is lighter and I would describe it as more earthy than the solid oil. I find the serum on its own in winter is not enough for me like I mentioned, might be better when we get into the warmer months, so I usually layer with the Boundless solid oil. I don’t know that I have been using this long enough to notice a huge difference in my skin brightness or texture. But, as I have been using the solid oil for so many years, I find my skin is in such great shape already!
Final thoughts on 8 Faces Beauty:
I am obsessed with this brand! If you’re going to choose one of these products to try, go for the 8 Faces Boundless Solid Oil first. It’s hands down my favorite product. So much so, that I haven’t tried a new balm in like 2 years. Again, it’s the best winter skincare product you need if you live in colder climates. The Brilliance Serum would be a second option for extra moisture and brightness. Results from the solid oil on its own are fabulous. I cannot recommend the Boundless Solid Oil enough.
